Thanks for checking out PROmetro Realty! You may also want to check out my Zillow and Facebook pages!

Real estate is my passion… truly, I consider myself blessed to be able to work in this industry. From a young age, my favorite shows to watch were This Old House, and Hometime on IPTV. While I do love older homes, I also enjoy following design trends and seeing how they are incorporated into new construction.

While I am no carpenter by trade (nor for hire), I have worked to develop some home construction skills myself. Some of the jobs I have done include: drywall, painting, tiling, laminate/vinyl flooring installation, lighting installation, decking, and various landscaping projects. I have also remodeled a kitchen and a bathroom down to the studs.

In short, these life experiences help me to better educate clients. This applies mostly to first-time home buyers but also for investment property clients. It can sometimes be difficult to realize exactly what should be done to help make a house a home in a cost-effective way. I’m glad to offer my advice when asked!

My Education

I’m a native Iowan from the Fort Dodge area. However, I’ve called Des Moines my home since 2008. I attended ICCC but went on to pursue and obtain a B.S. in Business Management from Iowa State University, graduating in 2005.

Career History

Community management is how I got started in real estate, having worked as a property manager of a 220 unit complex in West Des Moines for five years.

Later in 2012, I became a licensed REALTOR® and worked under the Jordan Grove Iowa Realty brokerage for almost five years. In the fall of 2019, I obtained the status of Broker/Owner, working under the PROmetro Realty brokerage in West Des Moines, Iowa.

My Goal

I work to understand the goals of my clients to help them achieve the best results. In addition, I strive for each and every client to experience a smooth real estate transaction. My goal is to be your real estate advocate and guide.

If you are starting on a real estate journey, I’d love to hear from you to see if we might be a good fit. I’m always looking for new stories to feature on my blog. Possibly, you may be the next entry. Please, head over to the FAQ and Contact pages to continue.
